PRODUCT MANAGER

We’re looking for our first Product Manager. Someone who knows racket sports from the inside and wants to own the product end-to-end as we scale from squash into a multi-sport business.

What We're Building

LevelTech is the rating infrastructure behind SquashLevels, PadelLevels, SquashSkills, and BadmintonSkills — a sport-agnostic performance layer for racket sports, validated across 7.3M+ matches and endorsed by the WSF and PSA. Think Strava’s engagement loop meets a golf handicap’s credibility.

We’re backed, growing, and investing in the team to match. We’ve proven the model in squash; now we’re scaling it into a multi-sport play, with padel front and centre. The algorithm and the credibility are done and trusted. The product opportunity in front of us is wide open.

The Gap We Need To Fill

We have product vision. We have a design team and a working build. What we don’t have is one person who owns the product end-to-end — the roadmap, the partner integrations, how the UI actually looks and feels, and the through-line from idea to shipped.

That’s the role. Our first Head of Product, owning the whole and making us genuinely product-led.

What You'd Own
  • Product vision and roadmap — turning the company’s direction into a sequenced, shippable plan, and being accountable for what gets built and why.
  • The whole user experience — we’re a web-based platform, currently wrapped in Ionic. How we present across web and mobile is a live question, and you’d own the answer. You’d direct our South Africa-based UI/UX team to deliver it.
  • Partner integrations — booking platforms, federations and white-label partners all touch the product. You’d own how those integrations work and how they show up to users.
  • How we ship — working hand in glove with Richard, sharpening the path from idea to release and lifting our pace.
  • The standard — raising the bar on quality, consistency and craft as we go from one sport to several.
Who You Are
  • A racket sports player. You know the sport, the club, the culture — because you’re part of it. You understand what players actually want from a product like this.
  • Someone who’s owned a product, not just a backlog — ideally taking something from early traction towards scale.
  • Hands-on and AI-native. Fluent with tools like Claude, comfortable getting into the build, able to fill gaps yourself. Front-end coding experience is a strong plus — we want someone who can muck in, not just direct.
  • A systems thinker who can hold the whole — multi-sport, multi-partner, multi-surface — and still ship the next thing.
  • Commercially minded. You understand that every product decision has a commercial outcome. You’re comfortable using data, experimentation and customer feedback to improve activation, retention, engagement and conversion. You think in terms of user journeys and product metrics, and know how to identify friction, measure impact and iterate quickly. You don’t just ship features; you improve the business.
  • A consumer-product craftsperson. You’ve led teams to ship beautiful, intuitive apps that people love using — and you have the taste and standards to hold a design team to that bar. You care how it looks and how it feels, not just whether it works.
The Honest Bit on Stage and Package

We’re founder-led and Venture-backed, with real momentum and investment going into growth. We’re at the stage where what we can offer is climbing — and the real draw here isn’t just salary, it’s meaningful equity and genuine ownership of the product from the ground up. This is a role that will help shape the future of the business, and the package reflects that.

If that’s the kind of bet that excites you, that’s exactly the conversation we want to have.

The Honest Bit on Stage and Package

Send us your CV and a short note on a product you’ve owned — what you shipped, what you’d do differently. Then let’s talk.
